I'm left wondering if this book was her first venture, then. Bracken is a talented writer who handles characters, plot, and prose like a veteran. The Darkest Minds trilogy she previously released is prime YA science fiction and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys that genre. If this were my first Alexandra Bracken book I would probably not pick up anything else she's written, which is a shame. I did like the puzzle solving, tho it all seemed very easy, but i did like how thing unfold. Have you listened to any of Saskia Maarleveld’s other performances before? How does this one compare? What do you think your next listen will be?ĭorthy must die? I have been curious about it. I didn't think the characters really liked each other that much, it wasn't convincing enough. I was surprised at Nick, just giving up on everything. but at the end the decision didn't seem so hard. I understand that the characters are from opposite times, and that they both have there reasons for repeating the same junk over and over. I didn't like the constant inner monologue that just kept repeating it self over and over. What disappointed you about Passenger, Book 1?
